The triggered incident goes\u00a0through following steps in the incident management process life\u00a0cycle \u2013<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Recording<br \/>\n\u2022 Classification<br \/>\n\u2022 Investigation and Diagnosis<br \/>\n\u2022 Resolution and Recovery<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does Sigmify work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The collaborative Sigmify Stream\u00ae provides the platform to integrate transactions from GFS Crane\u00ae\u00a0DCIM with Incident Management transactions. The features of Sigmify\u00ae that make it a powerful\u00a0platform for Collaboration are described below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dashboard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each Sigmify user has their own personalized dashboard where they can perform their daily tasks and\u00a0view reports. It is an aggregation of<br \/>\ntransactions and it appears on the\u00a0dashboard. In the case of DCIM, this allows\u00a0the incident to be tracked in the Stream. These\u00a0Conversations\u00ae can be carried on with\u00a0people within the company as well as with people outside the company \u2013 in different domains. This\u00a0expands the horizons of collaboration and improves the quality of conversations and work. These<br \/>\nconversations coupled with the My Sigmify\u00ae capability to save topics and searches makes these\u00a0Conversations\u00ae a living \u2018wiki\u2019 on the topic in question.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Sigmify\u00ae<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another great feature of Sigmify\u00ae is the ability it provides to users to \u2018customize\u2019 their own views of the\u00a0Stream\u00ae. Users can search the Stream\u00ae, define searches, save them, share them. This extensive search\u00a0feature makes it possible to do things like perform a category wise search of Incidents like all Critical<br \/>\nincidents, incidents under IT Classification, incidents within a date range. These searches can be saved\u00a0and shared with other users. In this case, reports like Incident\u00a0List, SLA List, Exception Report were integrated with Sigmify\u00ae Dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did using Sigmify\u00ae help?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Using Sigmify\u00ae increased the value and utility the Enterprise class DCIM. It improved the quality of\u00a0collaboration. It became very easy for people to share information, documents, screenshots, links and\u00a0other material, as it was required in the context of different transactions and conversations. The\u00a0contemporary chat type interfaces made it intuitive and easy to use.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest silent benefit was that fragmented communications became unified. Before Sigmify\u00ae,\u00a0various interactions around an issue were through emails, chat, applications, texts\u2026 now they became\u00a0unified through Sigmify Stream\u00ae, improving the quality of response and turnaround times.<\/p>\n<p>There is no training required. It is very easy to try before committing to use.<\/p>\n<p>All the users just went to www.sigmify.com and on-boarded. It is very easy to onboard. Everybody onboarded\u00a0in 3 steps \u2013 after verifying their emails. They were able to get start participating in the stream\u00a0of transactions in 3 short screens \u2013 about 5 clicks.<\/p>\n<p>Another benefit is the low cost \u2013 no set up costs, no infrastructure to build or maintain. You pay as you\u00a0go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Center Infrastructure Management Software<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GFS Crane\u00ae (www.greenfieldsoft.com) provides a data center operator the ability to monitor all the\u00a0equipment whether computing units such as servers, networking units such as switches routers, power\u00a0equipment such as PDU, generators, UPS and other electro-mechanical equipment needed for cooling.
